Okay, after reading this article, sit down and decide how you are going to achieve the goal of making exercise an important part of your life.
The first thing to look at is by taking a look at the equipment you could use indoors. You do not have to spend a lot of money but you do have to work out if you have enough space available .. It is better if you can set aside a dedicated area for this exercise part of your day. When the area is sorted and you have worked out what equipment you want to use then start looking. You do not need to buy new most second hand equipment is as new as the owner probably bought and then decided it was not for them. The type of equipment should be dumbbells, resistance bands, a step or if you have the room an exercise bike or a treadmill.
The next way of getting your exercise is the obvious use of a gym. The greatest benefit of a gym is that they have a very large range of equipment. This then provides you with a huge choice of exercise methods including cardio machines like step machines, low-impact aerobic classes, weight lifting, indoor cycling classes, kickboxing and step aerobics. A gym can also provide you with and individual exercise program that can be followed and that they can monitor to see how you are doing.
If you are more an at home exerciser then there are two other types of at home exercise. One is the use of a proper exercise DVD not a fad diet one. These will run you through a range of squats, or push ups along with stretches and intense activity. The other method is similar but very new, it is by using the Wii games console and the range of games activity games that they have. The great advantage of the Wii is that the majority of the games, along with the exercise specific programs, tend to exercise you all the time like tennis, bowling, driving etc.
On top of the above you can always up your amount of exercise time even if its playing with the kids, doing the house work or using parts of the office environment. I know office and exercise does not go but it does, use the stairs instead of a lift, if you're on a high floor then split it lift and stairs and aim to do an extra floor by stairs every week until you can do the lot. If your workmates are allowed a cigarette break then you are allowed a break as well so take a brisk walk around the office or go and have a brisk walk in the car park. All this will help your body.
